Hey guys… doof are looking for a great fulltime PHP developer to join our team.

doof is a casual games site with a strong push for competing with friends. We’ve got a sweet office in Camden where we have a casual dress code, coffee machine (very important), and a big ‘Bob the Builder’ soft toy (not quite as important).

We use CodeIgniter day-in-day-out since I think it’s the best framework going. So, if you love CodeIgniter, like games, and want a really exciting job in Web Development, maybe this role is for you!

Have a quick look at how we work, and play at doof:

Skills/Duties for the role are:

* Using CodeIgniter every single day smile
* Slicing PSD’s into slick XHTML/CSS (table-less, of course!)
* Standalone PHP Script Development (bulk processing scripts)
* Good MySQL Knowledge (Normalization, best practices and performance tweaking is a bonus)
* Excellent understanding of CodeIgniter and MVC - I preach CI, Love CI, and I want someone to work with us who feels the same way.
* Love and know jQuery more than your partner
* General interest in social networking and casual gaming.

Not required… but they help:

* Good taste in music raspberry We like our iTunes!
* Sense of humor… we do work for a web 2.0 gaming site after all.
* Enjoys beer/wine/etc… nothing like a cold Guinness down the pub after work on a Friday.

If you’d like to apply for the position, please send your Curriculum Vitae to , also write a little about your current circumstance and where about’s in London you live.

IMPORTANT…

This is not open for remote workers. You must be able to easily commute to Camden, London.

What are you waiting for? Send me your CV!
