New CodeIgniter Package! (GandyXT)

After doing a ton of CI installations, I decided to package some of the things I used the most. I don’t claim to be a guru or anything, just figured I could make life easier for others who might have had the same problems I had. Included in this package:

-The ever so popular XJAX script
-Asset helper: to use with images, javascripts, and stylesheets
-Facebox: cool javascript for displaying divs, images, and external pages
-Lightbox: another cool javascript for displaying images and image galleries
-htaccess file to hide your index.php

Looks great Iverson, thanks for putting this together. Could I ask you to change the name you use? You could personalize it… maybe “GandyXT” or something?

According to the description, it appears this is a full CodeIgniter download plus the files you’ve added in?
Are there any core modifications?

Could you alternatively provide a package with your files separated from CodeIgniter, along with patch files for any core file changes?

I dunno about others, but I keep my own version of CI stored in SVN, and I’d rather not have to sift through an entire copy to get a couple of addons sorted out.

It is the full core as well as I have just downloaded it. Other than that, it is very good, and very easy to use. Well Done.

Yes, it’s the full core. I will look into separating them, but I’m thinking that the work it will take to re-implement them might offset it’s entire purpose: to have cool features included into a CI download.
