Could anyone tell me what app Derek is using in the video tutorials?

It looks like TextMate but the skin looks different, cleaner.

If the video that you mean is the AJAX tutorial, the app is Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 which is not at all cheap!

That has got to be Textmate. Don’t know though how he replaced the default Textmate icon with the CI logo.

It’s textmate with a custom theme.

I just opened up the application package and replaced the background PNG for the vids. Seemed to be a simpler solution than doing a matte overlay in post production.
