Hello!
In one post Derek says this:

I would only add my voice to those you hear here. (here here!) CI is very actively developed, and will continue to be so as it forms the basis of a strategic decision within pMachine (see Ricks update post).  Additionally, I can vouch that its been used in at least 1 crazy high-traffic site (not one of mine and I’m bound to secrecy until he comes out publicly) and forms the basis for many others.

And my question is (not only for Derek)... what do you consider a high-trafic site?
It’s only for curiosity wink

good coding…

100,000 unique a day?  If someone says that’s not high traffic they should be shot - or at least added to every spam list out there.  I’ve never had a site get that kind of traffic. mad

@tido:
exactly, that’s why it’s ridiculous when all people shout something like “oh my god, i can’t use cake because it’s got such a weak performance” ... 99% of the webpages out there don’t come even close to the point where the framework actually is the performance bottleneck

That might be true, but I like it that the reason my sites aren’t doing 100,000 unique daily visitors is me and not my speedy framework raspberry

100.000 per day is very Crazy for me. :O
My website with more visits had 75.000 per month. And is Ci Powered. But i think the stats doesn’t work well, i think it counts less than the reality. The Hits(total requests to the server) are “2.000.000”. The day with more visits had 15.000 in one day.
The results are from webalizer and i read from the F.A.Q. all the URL’s without final slash like “www.somedomain.com/someSection” are not considered page type. Only the pages with this prototype “www.somedomain.com/someSection/” and ended with .html, .cgi, etc… is considered a “Page”(and in my site all the sections end without slash).
I think we install Mint in this site , jeje wink
