I am a new user of Code Ignitor, since 1 november 2006
The version of Code Ignitor is 1.5.0.
The configuration of Code Ignitor is standard.
  (No configuration.  Only in Database.php)

I initiate me with your tutorial
  - ci_intro.mov
  - ci_blog.mov
 
I add record in the DB by phpMyAdmin.

When I use the scaffolder.
In my browser I write this url.
http://localhost/codeignitor/index.php/blog/scaffolding

This is same adresse in your tutorial : ci_blog.mov.

I view in page “Scaffolding:  View Data”
  - 2 records (wrote in phpMyAdmin)

When I want add another record with link “Create New Record”
  I have à error 404 Page Not Found.
 
In Scaffoding page the link of “Create New Record” is :
  http://localhost/codeignitor/index.php/blog/index.php/blog/scaffolding/add
 
Also this problem is major for me because I can complete the tutorial.
I have de same probleme without scaffolder.

I have 3 or 4 choices :
- I wait the next version
- Someone give a fix for that.
- Where is the previous version for download?
- ...

For a initiation I prefere a previous version!
The present version 1.5.0 is stable?

The problem is
  the url generate by Code Ingniter in Scaffolder have a strange comportement.

Look at the link “Create New Record”

Maybe his only for my…
I use Xampp on Windows.

Why I want a previous version ? Because I think this probleme is not in!

Ok I find the page for old version.
Link for version 1.4.0 (don’t work)

Never mind that doesn’t seem to help.

Ok I find one solution.

I use a correct .htaccess in my root.
And now my CI is OK.

Also I read the user guide.
I make many tests with routes.php
And after that I re-read ci_intro.mov and ci_blog_mov.
