Hey Nick, I’d be interested in trying to convert your CI bundle to work with Intype on Windows. Unfortunately I get errors when I try to unzip the archive bundle you have posted.

Do you think you could post the bundle in a format us Windows users could read?

I’m a complete noob with this sort of thing, I hope I can get it to work :)

Great to see a CI bundle being written for Textmate. Someone has already mentioned Intype, it looks promising, I wonder if we could get an open standard ratified for cross editor bundles ?

I’m about to shift ALL my development to a MacBook (just waiting to see if Leopard is going to be released soon, or see if the new MacBooks come with LED backlight). Plugged into a large screen, keyboard and mouse in the office, and easily portable and demonstrable at a meeting with a client.

At present I use a mixture of boxes, Compaq Win 2K box for classic ASP and C# on SQL Server development, Redhat Linux on an IBM Thinkpad for most Perl, MySQL / Php work, and a Mac Mini for Photoshop and now increasingly MySQL / Php work.

OS X comes with Php and Apache installed, you only need to add MySQL (for guidance try the excellent Marc Liyanage site at http://www.entropy.ch/) With OS X you get a solid *nix like platform, very useable GUI and now with Parallels, you can run your Windows in a window (or full screen) on top of OS X.

At some point I’m hoping to convert all my ASP and C# clients to CI on MySQL.

Another major benefit is that a MacBook or Mac Mini uses MUCH, MUCH less power to run, and are almost silent compared to my current Windows box.

i could be wrong, but i think textmate bundles work with intype. the intype CI bundle is not so great (compared to the rails bundle).

has anybody used the code_complete plugin for vim?

http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=1764

http://files.myopera.com/mbbill/files/code_complete.gif

it doesn’t come with documentation, but it looks like it’ll do snippets as well as textmate or intype. if only i could figure it out…

textmate for today, vim forever…

I’m getting 404 errors on all the links (download, movie, etc).  Any updates on this?

Java? Why slow your system down and sacrifice all available system RAM…. ScITE is a brilliant cross-platform open-source text editor smile

ya it is application build on eclipse freamwork always slow down the system, have you tried netbeans really nice application and programming IDE, now supporting PHP also and for CI.
