To get to grips a bit with CI i made a blog, mainly based on the tutorial. I also made a secure admin area using the userauth code that was made available on this forum. It’s all very basic but it has given me a good overview on CI.

My first site using CI which I think turned out okay, tried to be a bit different from all those blogs out there.
About and links haven’t been updated in a long time though.

http://www.php.rk.edu.pl - A course site about creating web applications in PHP using a Framework (this framework) in Polish smile
Integrated with punBB (I’ll write about it soon) (currenty used for “Admin Panel” access) simple article module + dp.SyntaxHighlighter

Why when I add in textarea:

</script>
</script>
</script>

The ->post() returns

</script>
</script>
</script>

? using CI forms and no validators.

Finally finished rewriting my website to a CI application. It’s a (dutch) website for musicians where they can find other musicians.
Still some functionality missing (like a forum and english language) but the basic application is done. User registration, placing ads, responding to ads, searching, everything nicely done in CI!

check it out at:

Well, it ain’t up and running anywhere, but the shell of the app is slowly getting there… but here is a screenshot of it.

LFS League Manager

The app will be a online racing league manager for leagues that use the Live For Speed online racing simulator.

So far it uses the the following mods to CI:

Filtering
Sentry
Native Sessions
Layout - my custom rendering that allows the use of layout templates for views.

plus a variety of other mods I’ve posted on the boards.

P.S. It’ll be nice when the artists get ahold of it instead of my garish development colors! smile

Finally I finished my site which is built entirely with CI. I have been developing it only in my free time, so it took me a few months… wink
ToDlaCiebie.pl - it’s a website with gift ideas from Polish e-shops. The ideas are organized in over 300 categories (currently I’m adding the ideas, so there are less than 100 ideas at the moment) - see ‘Kategorie’. There is also a gift idea search engine - ‘Wyszukiwarka’, and also there is a possibility to find products using the search field in the menu - ‘Szukaj’.
This is the structure of the catalogue (if someone wants to take a look): category / subcategory / gift idea -> products
The application is divided into catalogue part - browsing the ideas, client part - managing reminders - ‘Przypomnienia’, admin part for me, and merchant part which I’m currently developing.

All comments will be appreciated smile

I’ve been doing everything on CI lately, even simple brochureware sites that don’t even use a database. I just like the MVC structure.

I’m currently working on CMS, Real Estate, and Musician packages.

Hey, I really liked the BMX site, I have some old school BMX photos in my gallery on my blog site, these were from the AFA competitions in the 80’s. Eddie Fiola, Dominguez, etc.

At this moment I’m busy developing a totally new website for a project based on CI.
The things that are almost ready:
- Weblog
- Comment function
- Profile

Upcoming:
- A guest book like thing
- Media manager for audio, video, pictures
- shoutbox

I’ve integrated Mini-auth for the login of the profile system and it works great!

At this point everything is still in development, so I can’t show the page right now… but I hope begin November I can release the new website.

Another project I’m working on is a project for a Dutch company.
This will be a closed project so I can’t show you anything.
But I can tell that it will be a system that can manage a lot of on-demand video’s (wmv, flv, maybe QT or real).
This project will also be based on CI 1.4.1
