As the opening poster has said,
“As Ionize is an open Source Project, we can offer a great link from the “About” page to the writer website !”

Therefore, I assume the only payment will be the aforementioned link to your website.

Personally, I’d be happy to contribute some time to do this.  I pursued a double-major at the university I attended; Computer Programming and English Composition.  I am both a programmer and a writer.

The contribution of Ionize to the community looks like it is well worth a bit of time invested.

I will take a look at the website, download the manual, and get in touch with you.

It looks nice, I look forward to trying it out.

Personally I have to download and try out an open source app before I’m willing to put any time or effort into it. So many great projects around it would need to show itself to be on par or better than PyroCMS and be at least ‘up there’ in functionality with the free version of ExpressionEngine.

I’m sure there will be a lot bigger potential response once it is in a downloadable public beta format.
