I read an eye opening post about why people don’t contribute to open source projects by Elizabeth Naramore.  Within the post Elizabeth talks about the 3 top reasons.  First being, time; second, people don’t know how or where to help; and third being, not enough confidence.  I am in the last two categories because I have plenty of time.  My problem is, I have no idea how and am really nervous that I am not going to be submitting good enough code, or mess up really bad and make a fool out of myself… then again I do that everyday but w/e.

Well today I decided to man up and grow a pair. So this is my question.

How can I help with CI 2?  Is there a feature request list that I could look at and start working on?  Any tips on starting out?

Cheers,

Yes as a one-off I agree. Having to do this every time becomes a pain when updates are available.

Once TortoiseHG is setup then all that is required is a right-click on the folder. This starts the update. Only changed files are “pulled” from the server. The update normally takes a couple of seconds.

I believe it is well worth the effort to install - even just for the satisfaction to watch your computer to do the boring repetative stuff smile

I would very much like to know about this as well! Anybody who can give more information on this?
