I think it’s not allowed to place a system / modules where you have 2 pay $120 for in the wiki…

Please remove everything about webber from the wiki?!?!

I see an ignited flame coming here!!!!!  tongue laugh

I think thats a little harsh on the author of whatever module’s etc that is. It looks very professional and a good example of what can be achieved with codeigniter.

Those who have the time and skill to create there own will, those that don’t are willing to pay to save time.

I do believe there is some kind of support given also, and we all have mouths to feed, bills to pay…

Just my 2 cents, however if the rules are to only have non-paid contributions, then i guess i am just plain mistaken.

As if the people behind codeigniter, ellislab, do not make many hours to develop codeigniter?
How do you feel if you develop a product, make it available for free, and someone else gonna sell your product with some modification and additions to it in your own wiki?!

CodeIgniter’s license allows developers to sell their products:

of CodeIgniter Software (the “Software”).  By obtaining the Software you
agree to comply with the terms and conditions of this license.

PERMITTED USE

  all source code files.

3. Redistributions in binary form must reproduce the above copyright notice

4. Any files that have been modified must carry notices stating the nature
of the change and the names of those who changed them.

5. Products derived from the Software must include an acknowledgment that
they are derived from CodeIgniter in their documentation and/or other
  materials provided with the distribution.

6. Products derived from the Software may not be called “CodeIgniter”,
nor may “CodeIgniter” appear in their name, without prior written
  permission from EllisLab, Inc.

Also note that I placed the old content back, don’t just delete something when you think it’s “wrong”.

Well, this is all moot since the webber developer seems to be off planet for the duration… If anybody can reach him, let him know he has a message waiting in his ticket system…
